After involved planning consultations consent was obtained for this project, and work started immediately within this Islington conservation area.
Extensive works were required, effectively re-building or reinforcing the whole of this terraced property. The entire lower ground floor was excavated down, and extended out to the rear, to house a new double height extension. The nature of this difficult build involved all waste removed being carried by hand through the property. The extensive steelwork and new stairs all had to be delicately installed by hand with compact precision lifting equipment. After all these obstacles were overcome the project was delivered on time and finished to a high specification.
